Prof. Jian Cheng

Prof. Jian Cheng is a professor of Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from Wuhan University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. After that, he got Ph.D degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from Institute of Automation in 2004, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current major research interests include deep learning, computer vision, AI chip design, etc. He have authored or co-authored more than 100 academic papers published on top journals or conferences, such as IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TNNLS/TCAD/TMM, JMLR, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, DATE. He has been awarded LU JIAXI Young Talent award from Chinese Academy of Sciences, the first class prize of Natural Sciences from Chinese Institute of Electronics.

Prof. Pengfei Zhu
(Tianjin University)
Pengfei Zhu is an associate professor with Tianjin University. The main research direction is high-dimensional heterogeneous data representation learning. He has published more than 40 CCF A and IEEE Transactions papers, and more than 4100 google scholar citations. He won the best paper award of ICME 2021, the most influential 15 papers of CVPR 2020, Excellent Youth Award of artificial intelligence, the first prize of natural science of Heilongjiang Province, the second prize of scientific and technological progress of China Intelligent Transportation Society and other awards. He participated in the formulation of 13 group standards in the field of artificial intelligence and was selected into the 2019 Tianjin youth talent promotion project and the 2020 Tianjin innovative talent promotion plan for young scientific and technological talents. He has built a large-scale UAV vision data platform VisDrone, and serve as the director of ECCV 2018, ICCV 2019, ECCV 2020 and ICCV 2021 UAV vision workshops and challenges.

Yuanpeng Tan
(China Electric Power Research Institute)
Tan Yuanpeng is a senior engineer at China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI). Now he is the external master's supervisor at North China Electric Power University and Renmin University of China. He has published over 30 academic papers and applied for over 40 patents, such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems, and et al. His main research fields include electrical information technology, computer vision, knowledge graph, and intelligent diagnosis of electric power equipment. He was an invited speaker to 2 international conferences.

Dr. Linghao Zhang
(State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute)
Linghao Zhang is a senior Engineer of State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute, energy Internet technology center. His research specialties focus on electric power big data analysis, artificial intelligence, and cyber-physical system. In recent years, he has won many awards in cyber security and big data competitions, as a principal investigator or major research participant, he has worked on more than 10 science and technology projects from US National Science Foundation, China 863, State Grid Corporation and Sichuan provincial government et al. He has taken charge of the construction of serval major projects of Sichuan electric power company, such as artificial intelligence middle platform, lab of intelligent Internet of things simulation and so on. He has more than 30 articles published in indexed journals, such as IEEE Software, Information & Software Technology, Energy Reports, et al, applied more than 20 patents, drafted 2 group technical standards of the power industry and 3 enterprise standards of the State Grid Corporation of China. Currently, he severed as member of IEEE PES power system operation planning and economic and technical committee, CIGRE B2_ D2. 72 members of the working group.
